Purge

Overview

The Purge is an ingame content that lets you gain special points and get rewards for hunting monsters in specified zones.

• Click the button on the side bar to open the Purge UI.
• There you can find:
  • Purge zones as well as their progress bars;
  • the number of keys collected in a certain zone as well as the number of keys obtained/available in the current season;
  • time till the end of the current season;
  • hunting rankings for a specified zone, personal ranking and Purge points accumulated;
  • the 'Get Reward' and 'Teleport' buttons in the upper right part of the UI (the former is active if you have at least 1 Purge key).
• Hunting monsters in the listed zones is rewarded with Purge points. Once a Purge bar is full, you get 1 Purge key.
  • The bar is being filled only when Sayha's Grace is active.
  • It is filled only if you kill monsters and gain XP in the specified hunting zones.
  • To purge a zone, you must meet its level requirements. For instance, if you've already reached Lv. 90, you cannot purge the Cruma Tower (Lv. 65-89).
• Hovering your mouse cursor over the 'Get Reward' button shows a tooltip with the list of available rewards. Once you get a Purge key, clicking the 'Get Reward' button opens a new window where you can check available rewards and claim them.
  • Purge keys can be used for getting rewards only in zones where they have been obtained. For instance, if you've got a Purge key of the Cruma Tower, only the related reward button becomes active.
  • Each of the zones has its own key counter set to 40/40 by default, and the first number is decreased when obtaining keys. E.g., if you get 1 Purge key in the Cruma Tower, the zone's counter becomes 39/40 and the others remain unchanged.
• Click the button to receive one of the available rewards. It will cost you 20,000 adena and 1 Purge key. You cannot get the reward while in combat or if your inventory's weight limit surpasses 80%.

You can gain Purge points in the following zones:

• During the prime time gained Purge points are doubled. At that time the letter H appears on the Purge icon on the side bar.
• Each zone has its own Purge rankings based on accumulated Purge points. They are updated every 5 minutes.

• A Purge season lasts for a week. Each new season starts on Monday at 00:00.
• When a new season begins, all rankings, key counters and accumulated points are reset.
• Also, at the start of a season, characters in the top-5 rankings receive their rewards by mail.

• Each Purged zone has its own reward pack. To learn more, see the table below.

Purge Rewards

You can obtain special weapons and other useful items as a reward for purging zones.

• You can claim a reward even while in combat.
• Beside unique Purge weapons, you can get special recipes for creating those weapons and Aden Purge Crystals. These items are used in the Special Craft system.
• If you give a Purge weapon to your pet, it additionally increases their P./M. Atk.
